We operate a hybrid working model, so you will benefit from both home and office working, the office being based in Cardiff and/or London. Our team are also based in Cardiff and London so there maybe occasional travel to our other offices.
What you will be doing
In your new role you will form part of a knowledgeable and dynamic finance team and will work closely with the Assistant Controller to deliver financial results specifically focussing on the revenue and funding side of the business.
Your key responsibilities will include the delivery of accounting records, including ownership of technical accounting areas such as loan loss provision, EIR etc. There will be month end accounting for some SPV’s, processes improvement and the management of the balance sheet reconciliation process at entity and consolidated level.
You will work closely with other sections in Finance and departments across the Company to provide support as required.
Being able to change priorities and adapt to a fast-changing environment will be crucial skills in your new role.
Knowledge
- Previous experience in delivery of financial results
- An understanding of IFRS 9 requirements
- A degree of understanding of securitisation and loan warehouse structures
- Experience of working within Financial Services is advantageous but not essential
Qualifications
Applications from recently qualified / QBE accountants as well as Qualified Accountants: ACA, ACCA or CIMA will be considered.
