Are you our new Senior Decision Science Analyst?
Working in our brand-new Decision Science team there has never been a better time to join Pepper Money, a specialist mortgage lender backed by a global financial institution offering first and second charge loans.
We operate a hybrid working model, so you will benefit from both home and office working, the office being based in either our Cardiff, London or Manchester office, there may be occasional travel to our other offices.
What you will be doing
This is a brand-new role reporting into the Head of Decision Science and working closely with the Decision Science Analyst and the wider analytical community you will assist in setting the direction for the company’s innovation using advanced techniques, that help to deliver the company’s strategic priorities. Working closely and communicating effectively with senior leaders across the business to identify teams and decisions that will benefit from the resource and skills available in the DS team. You will combine strong business knowledge with advanced techniques from data science, Operational Research and statistics, to enable higher quality business decisions, faster.
You will have a strong understanding and experience with machine learning, mathematical and statistical modelling techniques and methodologies. With experience using one or more relevant tools or programming languages such as R, Python, Alteryx etc.
Financial services experience is a benefit with knowledge and experience working with multiple business areas. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in STEM subject, with a focus on maths, statistics, computer science, or other experience/education with a high degree of statistical, numerical or quantitative analytical content.
