We operate a hybrid working model, so you will benefit from both home and office working, the office being based in either London or Manchester. Travel to our other offices will be required. 

What you will be doing   

With experience across 1st and 2nd charge products gained within the mortgage industry, you will be looking for your next role and will want to support with shaping the future of the team and department.

You will want to build upon your commercial knowledge and will have demonstrable experience working across the credit risk and credit management life cycle, including product  pricing and strategy deployment. You will have experience liaising with functions across the business to deliver good customer outcomes and strategic change.

You’ll be able to think on your feet, react quickly to challenge and be willing to truly work across the role, supporting colleagues and stake holders.

As part of the Firms 1st Line of Defence you will develop and monitor the Firms Credit Risk taking activities, driving the risk to reward trade-off. 

You will benchmark and assess our current internal capabilities, implementing actions to ensure credit strategy and pricing delivers against the business plan and objectives.

You will be proactive risk taker, driving continuous improvement and independently assessing, implementing and monitoring credit strategy and adherence to the Credit Risk Management Framework and supporting policies, standards and procedures. You will monitor and refine the credit risk profile relative to risk appetite, limits and early warning triggers, making recommendations as appropriate aligned to achievement of the business plan.
