We operate a hybrid working model, so you will benefit from both home and office working, the office being based in Cardiff and/or London. Our team are also based in Cardiff and London so there maybe occasional travel to our other offices.
What you will be doing
Your key responsibilities will include delivery of statutory accounts & external audit, regulatory reporting, tax compliance and support on technical accounting matters and ad hoc projects. This is a key position in the Finance department working closely with Finance Director on projects. You will also be responsible for driving external reporting function forward and ensuring best practice is met.
You will also have responsibility for managing the finance departments risk management reporting and controls and group reporting.
If you are an experienced Reporting Manager with a background in financial services, who has dealt with IFRS9/10 and have proven accountancy and auditing skills then we would love to hear from you.
If you are a Reporting Manager or qualified Accountant from a specialist or mortgage industry or top 10 accounting firms with financial services background, who is looking for progression then this role would be ideal for you!
You will need to be a hands-on self-starter who enjoys working under pressure in a fast paced environment and good with numbers but who also has exceptional attention to detail and problem solving skills.
