We operate a hybrid working model, so you will benefit from both home and office working, the office being based in Manchester. Our team are also based in Cardiff & London so there may be occasional travel to our other offices.
What you will be doing
You will be reporting to the Application Manager and work alongside our fantastic team of Underwriting Specialists.
The core focus of the role is to utilise your customer service skills and leverage your mortgage industry knowledge and experience. You will guide our valued broker partners to package their applications to meet all of our necessary underwriting requirements.
To best support and educate our broker partners, you’ll need to have a good understanding of our products and processes alongside the ability to confidently apply lending policy as the decision maker.
We operate a remote working model however there maybe an occasional need to attend ad hoc meetings and events in our offices which are based in Cardiff, Uxbridge and Manchester as well as visiting our brokers from time to time.
What we are looking for
The successful candidate will ideally have Mortgage Lending knowledge and experience as well as Regulatory knowledge, FCA, TCF, MCOB (MMR changes).
Strong customer service background and passionate about providing great customer service.
This is a busy and fast paced department but the rewards are many.
