We have initiated a programme to transform the way data is used and provisioned. One of the key elements of this change is an extensive remodelling of its entire data estate. We are migrating from Azure SQL estate to Synapse. To realise this the majority of our existing team will need to focus on the replatforming activity. However, whilst this work is underway the business still needs to be supported on the legacy platforms – SQL DWH, ADLS, Power BI and SSIS / ADF Pipelines. This role is to ensure that service levels on the existing platform do not drop to an unacceptable level and that critical requests from end users are met.
