What you will be doing 

This is an exciting new role for an experienced Senior Internal Auditor who will help support the Head of Internal Audit in the delivery of audits assigned from the internal audit plan.

In this role you will be responsible for undertaking internal audits end-to-end across the audit lifecycle, and across the whole business, gaining valuable insights into how the enterprise functions. You will work autonomously but also with co-sourced audit support and will assist in directing their input. You will keep the Head of Internal Audit informed of progress and will provide updates for relevant committees, including the Board Audit Committee. Stakeholder management is essential in this role as you will gain exposure to operational and senior management through audit execution, action follow-up and relationship management activities.

You will also develop a strong understanding of internal audit process, methodology and running a function by assisting the Head of Internal Audit in operations including methodology updates, undertaking the annual risk assessment, and developing the annual internal audit plan for Board Audit Committee approval.

What we are looking for

To be successful in this role you will have proven internal audit experience ideally within the Financial Services industry. You will be a self-starter, organised, proactive, pragmatic and hands on.
